On October 14th in Milan, Ecommerce companies and digital solutions providers will meet for the third edition of the main research that analyses the strategic role of suppliers in Italian Ecommerce

- Published on:Milan, June 18, 2025 – In a constantly evolving digital scenario, choosing the right partners is a decisive lever for the growth of Ecommerce companies. From platform management to logistics, from payment systems to customer service, every decision can significantly impact business results, with direct effects on turnover and EBITDA.
Precisely to shed light on these aspects, Casaleggio Associati announces the launch of the new edition of the research “The partners of Ecommerce companies 2025“, which will be presented on October 14 in Milan from 09:30 at the Swiss Center, n collaboration with 4eCom, the association of digital commerce solution providers.
The event, free for brands and retailers and by invitation for solution and service vendors, is now a central appointment for those who work in digital and want to navigate platforms, CRM, logistics, payment systems, marketing automation and other crucial nodes of the Ecommerce ecosystem.
The research will analyze the entire ecosystem of Ecommerce suppliers in Italy through market data, interviews and surveys, with the aim of understanding how companies’ priorities are changing and what are the most relevant criteria in choosing partners. Nine strategic areas will be explored, from the selection of sales platforms to payment systems, from logistics to marketplaces, from CRM to technology partners and agencies, up to marketing, advertising and emerging technologies services.
A central theme of the 2025 edition will be the analysis of technological choice ecosystems: often, the initial choice of a supplier influences subsequent decisions, directing companies towards predefined paths. But is it really always the best choice? The research aims to investigate when it is best to stay within a given ecosystem and when, instead, it can be strategic to innovate or change direction.
A further focus will be dedicated to the panorama of consulting firms and agencies, with the aim of creating order and providing a useful map for Ecommerce Managers, analyzing agencies by type of service, customers served and other key indicators, so as to facilitate selection and build reliable short lists for their decisions.
The project is based on the experience of Ecommerce Italia Advisor, the digital guide developed by Casaleggio Associati to support companies in choosing solutions and partners. Over 270 vendor companies have already joined the platform, which will soon be enriched with new data, search filters and detailed profiles for each supplier.
